The client already runs on more than 20 million endpoints, so the work is about architecture, stability and distribution: code signing, packaging, installs, updates and uninstalls. You would sit in the AI Agents department and work with product, AI/ML, backend and security teams, plus mentor and run design reviews.
Best for: a C++ engineer who has shipped a native desktop app to a big install base and knows the Windows and macOS system APIs well.
Skip it if: your desktop work has been mostly web or Electron; the posting puts C++ and OS-level APIs first, with Rust, Tauri and React as extras.
Salary: No salary on the listing.
At a glance: Lausanne · hybrid · 7+ years · posted 27 October (1 day ago).
What stood out: Nexthink has 13 listings in Switzerland on The Stack in 90 days, more than any other company, and this one went up yesterday.
Watch out for: The posting offers a relocation package for people moving from abroad but has no line on visa sponsorship. Confirm it in your first call. Nexthink pays up to half the cost of French classes, which hints at life in Lausanne, though the role does not require French.
