INTERVIEW PREPARATION
**2 techniques to ask better interview questions**
Good questions can help you stand out from other candidates at the end of an interview.
If you do not know what to ask, try these two techniques:
Before the interview: Check the job description for red flags
A phrase like "must be comfortable with changing priorities" tells you that priorities may change often in this team.
You can ask: "Can you give me an example of a priority that changed recently? How did the team handle it?"
Read the job description carefully. Mark any phrase you could ask about.
During the interview: ask about something the interviewer said
When the interviewer mentions a specific detail, such as a tool, a project, or a situation in the team, ask a follow-up question about it.
You can ask: “You mentioned you’re migrating from X to Y. What’s the reason for that change? What is the timeline?"

**Real engineering and tech jobs, pulled straight from the source**
Hiring Tempo pulls open engineering roles, and other tech roles like product, design, and data, straight from companies' own hiring systems, not like other scraped job boards, so what you see is what's actually open right now.
If you're navigating a job search, that means fewer stale reposts and less time spent on roles that already closed weeks ago.

Does this apply if I need visa sponsorship in Europe?
Yes. Use it on roles that will file papers. Skip listings that only say international with no visa line.
