Responsibilities:
- Join a product engineering team and contribute production-quality code to MongoDB products and services.
- Collaborate with full-time engineers, mentors and cross-functional teammates on feature development and delivery.
- Apply computer science principles (data structures, algorithms, software design) to real engineering problems.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging and deployment workflows; attend mentorship and career development sessions.
- Deliver a meaningful project over the 6-month internship with option for conversion to full-time.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (graduation Spring/Summer 2028).
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design; fluent in at least one language (Java, Python, Go, C++, JavaScript/Node.js or similar).
- Eligible and authorized to work in Ireland for the internship period; company sponsorship may be available for certain roles.
- Available full-time (40 hrs/week) for the fixed 6-month program starting January 2027 and able to attend office 3–5 days/week.
- Curious, collaborative and eager to learn from mentors; good communication skills and a desire to ship impactful work.
