AI Engineering Manager - Amplify C.S at Klaviyo

Responsibilities:
- Lead one or more engineering teams building internal platforms, AI-powered automation, and tooling that improve company-wide efficiency.
- Set technical direction and priorities for internal systems (web apps, data/event pipelines, third‑party integrations, RAG/agentic workflows).
- Ensure delivery quality: drive best practices for design, testing, CI/CD, observability, and security.
- Coach and grow engineers, hire when needed, run planning and design reviews, and remove execution blockers.
- Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Support, Finance, and Product to translate operational problems into scalable solutions and measure impact.

Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; strong software engineering background.
- ~5+ years full-stack SaaS development experience and 3+ years of engineering management or team lead experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python backends and TypeScript/React frontends, cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Practical experience with modern AI tools and patterns (OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini APIs, RAG, prompt engineering, agentic workflows).
- Strong product and system design skills, excellent cross-functional communication, and proven ability to deliver internal platforms at scale.
