Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain and optimise data pipelines and transformations using dbt, SQL and modern data stack tools.
- Develop data models and transformations for analytics, reporting and ML workflows (BigQuery/GCP or equivalent).
- Implement data quality, validation and monitoring (e.g., Great Expectations) and document standards.
- Operate and improve the internal analytics platform used by data scientists and analysts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CV, NLP, Fullstack, stakeholders) to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Gradually take ownership of platform tasks: IaC, orchestration (Airflow/Flyte), scaling and developer tooling.

Requirements:
- MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience; strong academic or professional track record.
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on dbt experience; solid Python for data workflows.
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing and working with cloud data platforms (GCP BigQuery preferred).
- Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Flyte), Docker, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu).
- Experience with data quality, monitoring and observability practices.
- Desire to grow from analytics engineering into full platform engineering and contribute to internal tooling and open-source.
