Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines and downstream data models in BigQuery to support reporting, ML and regulatory needs.
- Optimize the data warehouse for cost, performance and maintainability; identify opportunities to reduce complexity.
- Implement and follow best practices for data modelling, payload design, metadata, testing and documentation.
- Monitor and improve data quality in collaboration with engineers, analysts and product teams.
- Work in a multidisciplinary squad to deliver features that enable BI, analytics and financial reconciliation.

Requirements:
- Practical experience with data modelling, ETL and BigQuery (or equivalent cloud data warehouse).
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehouse concepts, testing and performance optimisation.
- Experience with BI tools (Looker or similar) and building analytics-ready datasets.
- Ability to follow and contribute to engineering best practices, metadata and testing standards.
- Good communication skills and experience working cross-functionally to troubleshoot data issues.
- Appetite for cost-conscious design and improving pipeline reliability.
