Applied AI, Fullstack Software Engineer, Critical and Sovereign Institutions, Paris at Mistral AI

Responsibilities:
- Design, build and deploy full‑stack AI applications, APIs, dashboards and workflow tools for critical and sovereign customers.
- Integrate Mistral models into customer systems and collaborate with research, AI and product teams on implementation details.
- Lead customer engagements from pre‑sales to post‑deployment: gather requirements, address constraints and ensure operational readiness.
- Ensure solutions meet strict security, reliability, performance and compliance requirements (auditability, access control, data residency).
- Provide post‑implementation support, operational troubleshooting and iterate on integrations based on customer feedback.

Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of applied/full‑stack engineering experience with Python and TypeScript.
- Experience with modern front‑end (React/Next.js/Vue) and back‑end (Node.js) frameworks and API design.
- Strong understanding of security and compliance for on‑premise/private‑cloud deployments and regulated environments.
- Customer‑facing experience, excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Important: role requires French citizenship and the ability to obtain any required security clearances for work with critical/sovereign institutions.
