## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Define long-term technical direction for analytics engineering across Revenue, Purchase and Orders domains.
- Own architectural integrity: data modeling standards, semantic layer design and cross-domain consistency.
- Reduce systemic complexity, improve reliability and optimise cost-efficiency of pipelines and data products.
- Establish operational quality: tests, monitoring, SLAs and deployment practices for analytics assets.
- Mentor and enable analytics engineers, data scientists and engineering teams to deliver scalable data products.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, Engineering and Commercial stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience in analytics or data engineering building production-grade data models and pipelines at scale.
- Strong SQL and dbt (or equivalent) experience, with solid data modelling and semantic layer design skills.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Iceberg) and orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster).
- Knowledge of feature stores, event-driven architectures and BI tooling (Looker/Tableau/Power BI) is desirable.
- Proven ability to set standards, influence technical direction and communicate effectively across teams.
- Product-minded, pragmatic and committed to operational excellence and maintainability.
