We're hiring Associate Data Scientists with a background in Operations Research. You will own the entire process: from ideation and research through to production deployment. You'll join either our Pricing or Matching team, working alongside other Data Scientists and engineers on challenging, high-impact problems such as dynamic pricing and bipartite matching. Responsibilities Collaborate with engineers, Data Scientists, designers, and product managers to solve ambiguous problems Research, prototype, and ship ML and optimisation models into production Continuously improve existing algorithms and identify opportunities for new ones Requirements Master's or PhD in Operations Research, Mathematics, Management Science or a closely related field with a focus on optimisation Strong foundation in mathematical optimisation or mathematical programming Solid knowledge of probability & statistics Excellent programming skills in Python and core ML tooling (e.g. SQL, PyTorch, etc.) Nice to have Exposure to dynamic pricing, auction design, or marketplace matching problems What we offer Wheely expects the very best from our people, both on the road and in the office. ## Responsibilities

The role involves owning the entire process from ideation and research through to production deployment of models, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve ambiguous problems. Responsibilities include researching, prototyping, and shipping ML and optimization models into production while continuously improving existing algorithms.
