Automation QA Engineer with Typescript at BrainRocket

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain end-to-end automated tests in TypeScript alongside application code.
- Collaborate closely with Backend, Frontend and DevOps engineers during feature design and delivery.
- Define test strategies at feature and system level (unit, integration, E2E, contract testing).
- Implement stable test doubles (mocks, stubs) and decide when to use real integrations.
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution and reporting.
- Contribute to the automation framework, participate in test code reviews and maintainability efforts.

Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of test automation experience in product or platform teams.
- Strong hands-on TypeScript/JavaScript skills and experience writing tests near application code.
- Practical experience with modern E2E frameworks (e.g., Playwright) and REST API testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and test observability/reporting tools (Allure, TestOps).
- Solid testing principles: test pyramid, shift-left, contract testing and system-level validation.
- Good communication, ability to work in cross-functional teams and Intermediate+ English.
