## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Gather and translate business requirements into testable, implementation-ready specifications for Databricks.
- Profile and analyse source datasets (MS SQL Server, Delta Lake) to uncover inconsistencies and root causes.
- Create source-to-target mappings, business rules, data dictionaries and end-to-end lineage artifacts.
- Define and maintain data contracts with data owners; specify business DQIs and technical checks.
- Design and execute reconciliation tests, support UAT and validate migrated pipelines against legacy outputs.
- Support automated delivery of group reporting datasets and contribute to BCBS 239 / ECB RDARR documentation.

Requirements:
- Several years’ experience in regulatory, risk or finance reporting in banking (e.g., FINREP/COREP).
- Very strong SQL skills for profiling, reconciliation and large-set analysis.
- Proven experience writing functional specifications and mapping complex data flows.
- Solid knowledge of data quality management, lineage and DQ KPIs (accuracy, completeness, timeliness).
- Experience in testing/validating data deliveries and running user acceptance tests.
- Working knowledge of BCBS 239 and data governance concepts; strong communication skills and agile experience.
- Advantage: hands-on Databricks and basic Python/PySpark for prototyping.
