## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Elicit and document data requirements with Regulatory, Risk and Finance stakeholders for direct implementation in Databricks.
- Profile and analyse source systems (MS SQL Server, Delta Lake) to detect gaps, inconsistencies and root causes.
- Produce functional specifications: source-to-target mappings, business rules, data dictionaries and lineage diagrams.
- Define and manage data contracts and business DQIs; design technical checks and monitor DQ results.
- Design and run test plans and reconciliations, support UAT and validate migrations from legacy processes to automated Databricks deliveries.
- Contribute to BCBS 239 and ECB RDARR implementation, audit documentation and cross-team agile delivery.

Requirements:
- Several years’ experience with regulatory, risk or finance reporting in a banking environment (e.g., FINREP/COREP).
- Very strong SQL skills for profiling, reconciliation and complex data analysis.
- Proven ability to create clear functional specifications and source-to-target mappings.
- Solid understanding of data quality management, lineage and DQ KPIs (accuracy, completeness, timeliness).
- Experience designing test cases, validating datasets and running user acceptance tests.
- Familiarity with BCBS 239, data ownership concepts and agile team collaboration; fluent German and English.
- Nice to have: hands-on Databricks experience and basic Python/PySpark for prototyping.
