## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, storage, consumption).
- Implement ingestion from multiple sources (APIs, databases, files, external systems) and ensure data quality and traceability.
- Build transformation and enrichment processes using tools like Databricks, Synapse or Microsoft Fabric.
- Design and optimize data models for analytics, reporting and lakehouse/warehouse architectures.
- Implement versioning, error handling, logging and monitoring for production pipelines.
- Collaborate with BI, analytics and business teams to convert requirements into robust technical solutions; document flows and architecture decisions.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in Data Engineering or backend roles focused on data pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Azure preferred; AWS acceptable) and services such as ADF, ADLS, Synapse, Databricks or Fabric.
- Proficient in Python and SQL; strong understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT patterns.
- Familiarity with data lake, data warehouse or lakehouse architectures and API ingestion patterns.
- Intermediate level of English and good communication/collaboration skills.
