## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Composer).
- Model and operate scalable data warehouses and data lakes, applying appropriate dimensional and analytical models.
- Implement DataOps/DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, monitoring and alerting for data workflows.
- Ensure data quality, security, lineage and governance; enforce access controls and data cataloguing standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists and architects to translate requirements into production solutions.
- Support production deployments, troubleshoot issues, and optimise performance and cost of cloud data processing.

Requirements:
- Degree-level education in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent; 3–5 years of Data Engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with GCP data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Composer) and SQL.
- Strong Python skills for data transformation, validation and tooling; familiarity with data modelling patterns (data lake/warehouse/mesh).
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform) is preferred.
- Good understanding of data governance, security and monitoring practices.
- Professional working proficiency in English; French language skills are a plus.
