## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Architect, design and build scalable Elixir services following DDD and event-driven principles.
- Write modular, maintainable code and enforce quality via code reviews and automated tests.
- Translate product requirements into technical designs, estimate effort and deliver outcomes.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimise services for performance and reliability.
- Drive adoption of new technologies and share knowledge across the engineering organisation.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure and cross-functional teams to ship features safely and iteratively.

Requirements:
- Strong backend development experience with event-driven architectures, microservices and domain-driven design.
- Professional experience with Elixir (and functional programming concepts); Rust experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with TDD, Event-Sourcing/CQRS patterns and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka) is advantageous.
- Comfortable working in Agile teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive, growth-minded engineer with solid problem-solving ability and a focus on high code quality.

## Responsibilities

Architect, design, develop, and maintain scalable Elixir services aligned with industry best practices. Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to translate requirements into effective software solutions and define timelines. Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and drive adoption of new technologies to improve quality and performance.

## Requirements

Extensive backend development experience with event-driven architectures, microservices, and domain-driven design; strong English communication and collaboration in Agile environments.
