## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Digital Identity engineering team focused on AML and fraud risk systems.
- Coach, mentor and develop engineers through 1:1s, goal-setting, feedback and performance management.
- Recruit and retain talent; create individual growth plans and address skill gaps.
- Drive delivery: coordinate with product, operations and stakeholders on planning, dependencies and risk management.
- Improve processes and metrics to increase flow of value and team performance.
- Remove blockers by coordinating with other teams and providing transparency on progress.

Requirements:
- Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams, including coaching and delivering difficult feedback.
- Track record of delivering impactful projects in an agile, fast-changing environment.
- Strong leadership, planning and communication skills; able to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Passion for people development and creating a positive, accountable team culture.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced FinTech environment; professional written English required.
- Nice-to-have: experience with DevOps culture, infrastructure, or operations in regulated environments.
