## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Own reliability, availability and lifecycle of on-premise edge racks: server hardware, network gear, custom Linux OS and GPU-enabled Kubernetes clusters.
- Design and automate provisioning and fleet management (Terraform, BMC/IPMI, router APIs, GitOps) for dozens of edge clusters.
- Maintain secure, robust network connectivity and tooling for safe software delivery to remote sites (VPN/IPSec and related controls).
- Operate incident response: triage escalations, lead post-incident reviews and implement automated fixes to prevent recurrence.
- Define and monitor SLOs/SLIs/SLAs, extend observability (Prometheus, exporters, Grafana, Datadog) to proactively detect hardware and software issues.
- Set architecture and operational standards, mentor engineers, and act as top-level technical escalation for complex production problems.

Requirements:
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes at scale, Linux systems, and bare-metal server hardware.
- Strong programming/scripting skills (Golang or Python) and experience building automation and tooling for infra operations.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and GitOps workflows (Argo CD or similar).
- Solid networking and security experience (IPSec/VPN, router APIs, secure remote management) for on-premise fleets.
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), SLO-driven reliability and incident management processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills for cross-team alignment in a distributed environment.

You will own the reliability, availability, and performance of a global fleet of edge infrastructure running AI-powered MRI systems. This includes managing hardware, networking, operating systems, and Kubernetes layers while leading incident resolution and architectural standards.
