## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Lead technical design and delivery of real-time market data ingestion into the Data Lake with a focus on low-latency and high throughput.
- Architect and implement feed handlers, parsers and pipelines for TREP, Bloomberg and direct venue feeds.
- Build fault-tolerant, observable pipelines with strong data quality, lineage and monitoring.
- Collaborate with Global Markets, Risk, Finance and Ops to translate business needs into reliable data solutions.
- Define standards, mentor engineering teams, run reviews and drive best practices for CI/CD and operational runbooks.
- Own capacity planning, performance tuning and incident response for market data systems.

Requirements:
- Strong Java engineering background with experience in Spring ecosystem and building distributed systems.
- Proven experience designing low-latency, high-throughput market data ingestion or streaming platforms.
- Familiarity with TREP, Bloomberg APIs or direct market protocols is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of data engineering concepts: data lakes, data quality, lineage and partitioning strategies.
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure automation and production monitoring tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills; financial markets experience a plus.
