## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and develop on-premises and virtualised datacenter infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization platforms like VMware/Nutanix).
- Implement, test and commission new infrastructure components and improvements as the site moves into 24/7 operations.
- Replace manual tasks with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code for provisioning, configuration, patching and lifecycle management.
- Manage storage, backup, recovery and disaster recovery procedures; improve monitoring, alerting and availability.
- Troubleshoot production-critical issues, work with network/platform teams and vendors, and take part in an on-call rotation.

Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in enterprise infrastructure and data centre operations.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix or similar).
- Solid understanding of servers, storage systems, backup/recovery and DR concepts.
- Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python or similar) and familiarity with IaC and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting and lifecycle/patch management; strong troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Willingness to participate in shift/on-call duties and to work in a fast-growing, multi-disciplinary environment.

## Responsibilities

You will operate and develop physical and virtual server infrastructure while transitioning the site into 24/7 operations. This includes automating infrastructure tasks, managing storage and backups, and troubleshooting production-critical systems.

## Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in Engineering or Computer Science and several years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and data center operations. Proficiency in Windows Server, virtualization, and scripting languages like PowerShell or Python is required.
