## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a cloud-native authentication and authorization product using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement secure, well-documented APIs and services (Spring MVC, Spring Security, JPA).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), container images, Helm charts, and GitOps workflows for Kubernetes deployments.
- Collaborate with Product, QA and DevOps to deliver end-to-end features; participate in grooming, planning and pair programming.
- Write automated unit and integration tests, perform code reviews and uphold clean-architecture and design patterns.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team practices that improve reliability, observability, and delivery speed.

Requirements:
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate).
- Practical experience deploying and operating services on Kubernetes and AWS; familiarity with Helm and GitOps.
- Strong CI/CD knowledge (GitLab pipelines, Gradle/Maven), API design, and automated testing practices.
- Good communication skills in English and ability to work in a hybrid team based in Barcelona (relocation support available).
- Experience with authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth2/OpenID Connect) and secure development practices is a plus.

You will develop and maintain a cloud-based authentication and authorization product within a high-performing team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features while embracing DevOps culture and continuous integration practices.
