Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end development and production deployment of ML models to improve Receive product performance and risk controls.
- Analyse large volumes of transaction and customer data to surface trends, anomalies and actionable signals.
- Design and run experiments to evaluate product changes, decisioning systems and customer outcomes.
- Build scalable modelling patterns, automated data pipelines and monitoring to support production-grade ML.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, analytics, operations and risk teams to translate business problems into data science solutions.
- Implement model monitoring, evaluation and lifecycle processes to ensure reliability and compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven track record deploying models from scratch (data preprocessing, feature engineering, training, evaluation, monitoring).
- Strong Python skills, experience with Git and ability to read and review code (Java familiarity a plus).
- Hands-on experience with large data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and strong SQL knowledge.
- Solid understanding of supervised/unsupervised methods, anomaly detection and production MLOps practices.
- Product and risk-oriented mindset with excellent cross-functional communication skills.
- Experience working with transaction or payment datasets and addressing fraud/risk challenges preferred.
