Responsibilities:
- Lead design, development and deployment of ML models to improve Receive product performance, risk decisions and customer outcomes.
- Analyse large volumes of transaction, customer and product data to surface trends, risks and opportunities.
- Design and run experiments to measure impact of product changes and decision systems.
- Build scalable modelling pipelines, features and monitoring for production-grade ML.
- Collaborate with engineers, product, analytics, operations and risk teams to translate business needs into data science solutions.
- Keep the team current on ML, fraud prevention and MLOps best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven track record deploying models end-to-end: data prep, feature engineering, model selection, evaluation and monitoring.
- Strong Python skills, experience with Git and code review; ability to read service code (e.g., Java) and collaborate with engineering.
- Experience with large-scale data processing (Hadoop, Spark, SQL) and building robust data pipelines.
- Familiarity with model deployment and MLOps tooling (CI/CD, SageMaker or similar) and production monitoring.
- Strong experimental design, statistical analysis and product-oriented problem solving.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; experience in payments/fintech or fraud/risk is beneficial.
