Responsibilities:
- Design, prototype, and productionize large-scale ML models for sponsored search: retrieval, ranking, ad allocation, and user engagement modeling.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and analytics to define success metrics and integrate models into the ads funnel.
- Run A/B experiments and metrics-driven evaluations to validate model performance and measure business impact.
- Optimize model pipelines for latency, scalability, and maintainability; deploy, monitor, and iterate on production models.
- Communicate technical trade-offs and model capabilities to stakeholders and contribute to product decisions.
Requirements:
- Strong expertise in ML techniques relevant to search and ads (NLP, information retrieval, deep learning, recommendations).
- Proven track record deploying production ML systems, including model serving, monitoring, and A/B testing.
- Solid software engineering skills: clean, maintainable code, data modeling, and pipeline development.
- Experience designing experiments, interpreting results, and translating findings into product improvements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to maximize user and business outcomes.
