## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant cloud and bare-metal infrastructure for customer-facing APIs and large model training jobs.
- Operate production systems: incident response, on-call rotations, troubleshooting, user admin, data extraction, and capacity scaling.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) to reduce downtime and meet SLAs.
- Build and improve CI/CD, containerization and orchestration workflows (Kubernetes, Docker) for deployments and training runs.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) and scripting (Python/Go/Bash).
- Perform root cause analysis after incidents and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with software, product and security teams to align reliability, security, and performance goals.

Requirements:
- Master’s degree (preferred) and 5+ years in SRE/DevOps or equivalent experience supporting production distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform/CloudFormation and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Go, Bash) and building reliable CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) and incident response processes.
- Experience with bare-metal infrastructure, HPC or large-scale GPU training environments is a plus.
- Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, capacity planning and fault tolerance.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
