Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the iOS and Android engineering teams through coaching, feedback, one-to-ones and hiring.
- Remain hands-on: write and review production native code, pair-program, and investigate difficult bugs and performance issues.
- Champion AI-assisted development: demonstrate practical use, teach evaluation of outputs, and preserve code quality and security.
- Drive native app quality: define architecture, testing, release practices and standards for performance, stability and accessibility.
- Collaborate with Product, Design and Backend to translate customer needs into prioritized work and pragmatic technical solutions.
- Build a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
Requirements:
- Strong track record as a native mobile engineer with production iOS or Android apps you shipped.
- Deep hands-on expertise in Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java; able to contribute production code today.
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing engineers, providing constructive feedback and career guidance.
- Solid knowledge of native platform architecture, lifecycle, concurrency, performance tuning and debugging tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; English fluency required.
- Experience applying AI-assisted tools in development workflows is a plus.
