Responsibilities:
- Advise business teams on data platform architecture and appropriate use of ClickHouse and streaming components.
- Design ClickHouse schemas: tables, materialized views, and query-optimized views for real-time analytics.
- Configure and maintain Debezium and MSK/Kafka connectors for reliable change data capture.
- Build, optimize, and troubleshoot data pipelines; improve database performance and query latency.
- Review code and solutions from business teams; promote best practices and scalability.
- Lead cross-team initiatives to raise platform standards and adoption.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Strong ClickHouse expertise (schema design, query tuning, performance optimization).
- Solid relational database knowledge (e.g., MySQL) and ability to reverse-engineer schemas and queries.
- Experience with Kafka, Debezium, and connector configuration/operations.
- Proven ability to review code, drive architectural decisions, and communicate technical trade-offs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience coordinating initiatives across teams.
