## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Collect, cleanse and integrate large datasets from multiple sources (Azure SQL, Data Lake, APIs, SharePoint, geospatial and tabular data).
- Design, build and maintain Power BI solutions: data models, Power Query transforms, DAX measures, time intelligence and user-friendly reports/dashboards.
- Perform statistical and exploratory analysis to identify trends, anomalies and insights to support decision-making.
- Develop and validate forecasting and predictive models; present model results and recommended actions to stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality through regular validation, monitoring and documentation of data pipelines and models.
- Support adoption of self-service analytics and best practices in data modelling, visualization and governance.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, scope reports and deliver actionable analytics.

Requirements:
- 5+ years experience with Power BI including Power Query, DAX, data modelling and dashboard UX.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation; experience connecting Power BI to Azure SQL, Data Lake, APIs and SharePoint.
- Experience with structured and unstructured data, including geospatial datasets; familiarity with Python (Pandas/NumPy) is a plus.
- Proven ability to analyse complex datasets, build statistical models and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and validation processes.
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or equivalent experience.
- Experience working independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

## Responsibilities

Analyze complex datasets, perform statistical analysis, and develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-informed decision making across the organisation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and present findings clearly to stakeholders.

## Requirements

5+ years of Power BI experience (including Power Query, DAX, time intelligence, and data modelling), strong SQL skills, and experience connecting Power BI to Azure SQL, Data Lake, APIs and SharePoint. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related field; Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) preferred.
