## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Embed in a product team and own ML workstreams from problem framing to production deployment.
- Choose build vs. buy: fine-tune internal models or integrate external models/APIs to maximise customer value quickly.
- Implement model training, evaluation and CI/CD for deployments; write production-quality code in the product codebase.
- Design evaluation metrics, monitor model performance in production and investigate failures or regressions.
- Deliver features scoped in weeks: iterate rapidly using user feedback and telemetry to prioritise improvements.
- Collaborate with ML infrastructure and product teams to reuse shared tooling and maintain observability.

Requirements:
- 2+ years shipping ML-powered features to production; strong practical experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or JAX.
- Experience fine-tuning vision or diffusion models and designing robust evaluations for model quality.
- Production engineering skills: writing maintainable code, setting up monitoring, and running training pipelines.
- Product focus: quick decision making, pragmatic trade-offs and strong customer-oriented problem framing.
- Good collaboration and communication skills; able to work across product, design and ML teams.
- Bonus: experience with generative image models, third-party AI APIs and large-scale inference/serving.

## Responsibilities

Own focused machine learning projects end to end, from framing customer problems and selecting build-versus-buy approaches to shipping features in production. Evaluate and monitor performance, investigate failures, gather user feedback, and iterate quickly in collaboration with product and ML teams.

## Requirements

Requires at least two years of hands-on experience building and shipping machine-learning products, with strong experience in PyTorch or an equivalent framework such as TensorFlow or JAX. Candidates should be able to fine-tune vision or diffusion models, design evaluations, write maintainable production code, and pragmatically own ambiguous projects through launch and iteration.
