Python Software Engineer — AI/ML Integration & AI Agents at Sky Spy Inc

About the role

Responsibilities:
- Integrate ML and neural network models into production applications and build inference pipelines.
- Develop backend services, REST/integration APIs (FastAPI/Flask) and agent-based workflows that call tools and external services.
- Build and optimise software for embedded Linux devices, addressing CPU/memory/storage constraints.
- Implement logging, monitoring, error handling, tests and deployment pipelines; package and ship applications.
- Debug cross-layer issues (application, inference, OS, network) and maintain clear technical documentation.

Requirements:
- Strong Python and production software engineering experience, including building REST APIs and backend services.
- Practical Linux experience (services, networking, filesystems) and familiarity with async/multithreading concepts.
- Experience with ML inference lifecycles and frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow/ONNX) and defining model I/O contracts.
- Familiarity with containerisation, CI/CD, version control (Git) and automated testing practices.
- Ability to optimise for edge devices, debug complex integrations and communicate effectively with ML engineers and stakeholders.
