(Senior) Analytics Engineer (m/f/x) at Scalable GmbH

Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the data stack for regulatory reporting within the AWS lakehouse.
- Design, build and maintain reliable ETL/data pipelines to ingest, clean and transform structured and unstructured sources.
- Create clear, conformed data models (dbt) and views tailored to reporting and downstream analytics.
- Implement automated data testing, monitoring and CI/CD to ensure pipeline accuracy and performance.
- Maintain documentation, data catalog entries and governance artifacts for traceability and audits.
- Collaborate with product, engineering and reporting teams to translate requirements into reproducible data solutions.

Requirements:
- Strong SQL and data modeling experience; practical dbt usage preferred.
- Experience with AWS data services (lakehouse, Athena) and cloud-based pipelines.
- Familiarity with Python for data processing and automation.
- Knowledge of data testing, monitoring, version control and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to communicate findings, troubleshoot data issues and support stakeholders.
- Degree in computer science, mathematics or related field and 2–5 years relevant experience.
