Responsibilities:
- Ensure platform productivity and resilience by implementing monitoring, observability and incident practices.
- Design, build and operate services, infrastructure and tools for batch and streaming data pipelines on Kubernetes/GCP.
- Standardize processes and automate onboarding, deployment, scheduling and failure recovery for data pipelines.
- Collaborate with SRE to improve developer productivity and drive CI/CD adoption.
- Architect and deliver company-wide technical solutions (e.g., search, authentication, scalability) aligned with product roadmaps.
- Work hands-on in a cross-functional team and provide technical mentorship.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong production experience with Go (Golang).
- Proven experience operating large-scale systems on Kubernetes and GCP.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD, monitoring, observability and automation for platform services.
- Strong system design, architecture and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working across teams and stakeholders.
