## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve core platform services (initial focus: Identity & Authentication and Search backend).
- Architect and implement high-throughput, secure, and maintainable internal APIs in Golang.
- Design scalable shared services (notifications, discovery, etc.) and drive technical direction for foundation components.
- Ensure operational excellence: monitor, alert, troubleshoot, and take on-call responsibility for owned services.
- Produce testable, well-documented code and promote modular architecture and automated testing across teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, tech leads and product teams to translate requirements into robust system designs.

Requirements:
- Strong production experience with Golang and system-level application design.
- Proven background in distributed systems, API design, and performance/scale optimizations.
- Hands-on familiarity with Identity protocols (OAuth2, OIDC) and systems like Keycloak or similar.
- Experience with search backends or search-engine technologies (design/optimization/query routing helpful).
- Cloud experience (GCP and/or AWS) and solid testing/CI practices.
- Good knowledge of security, modular architectures, and ability to mentor peers and drive best practices.

## Responsibilities

Architect and maintain high-throughput foundational services, specifically focusing on identity, authentication, and search backends. Develop scalable internal APIs and developer tools to enable other product teams to build features rapidly.

## Requirements

Requires over 6 years of industry experience as a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in Go and distributed system design. Proficiency in authentication protocols and cloud ecosystems (GCP/AWS) is essential, with PHP knowledge being a plus.
