Senior Backend Engineer I Bulgaria relocate to UAE at PixelChain

Responsibilities:
- Work with product teams to convert business needs into scalable backend designs and implementations.
- Own development from design through deployment, including testing and monitoring.
- Build and maintain microservices-based architectures that scale with usage.
- Implement unit and integration tests; participate in reviews and automated testing practices.
- Engage in incident handling and post-mortems to improve system robustness.
- Support team priorities across backend and platform work.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend development experience using Java / Java Core with strong system design skills.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms and concurrent programming.
- Experience with microservices and multiple databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
- Practical experience with AWS and Docker-based deployments.
- Skills in performance tuning (indexing, partitioning, sharding) and profiling.
- Proven testing experience with JUnit and Mockito and working in Agile environments.
