About the role
Responsibilities:
- Work with product teams to convert business needs into scalable backend designs and implementations.
- Own development from design through deployment, including testing and monitoring.
- Build and maintain microservices-based architectures that scale with usage.
- Implement unit and integration tests; participate in reviews and automated testing practices.
- Engage in incident handling and post-mortems to improve system robustness.
- Support team priorities across backend and platform work.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend development experience using Java / Java Core with strong system design skills.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms and concurrent programming.
- Experience with microservices and multiple databases (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with messaging platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
- Practical experience with AWS and Docker-based deployments.
- Skills in performance tuning (indexing, partitioning, sharding) and profiling.
- Proven testing experience with JUnit and Mockito and working in Agile environments.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable backend architectures and microservices to support business expansion into new markets. Own the full development lifecycle from design to deployment, including performance tuning and incident response.
Requirements
Requires over 5 years of experience in Java backend development with a strong grasp of system design and data structures. Proficiency in various database technologies, messaging systems, and cloud deployment using AWS and Docker is essential.
