Senior Backend Engineer I Hungary relocate to UAE at PixelChain

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into scalable backend solutions.
- Own the full application lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Design and build microservices and system architectures that maintain performance as usage grows.
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews to ensure reliability.
- Participate in incident response and post-mortems; implement lessons to improve resilience.
- Contribute to cross-team tasks and priorities as needed.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on backend experience with Java / Java Core and strong system design fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and concurrency.
- Experience with microservices architecture and multiple datastores (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
- Working knowledge of AWS and Docker for cloud deployments and containerization.
- Proven skills in performance tuning (indexing, partitioning, sharding) and profiling.
- Practical testing experience with JUnit and Mockito and experience working in Agile teams.
