Senior Backend Engineer I Ukraine relocate to UAE at PixelChain

Responsibilities:
- Partner with product teams to design and deliver scalable backend solutions that meet business requirements.
- Own the end-to-end development lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, deployment and maintenance.
- Design microservices and system architectures focused on performance and reliability.
- Implement unit and integration tests and participate in peer code reviews.
- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis and post-mortems to improve system resilience.
- Contribute across engineering tasks as priorities evolve.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of Java / Java Core backend development experience and solid system design knowledge.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and concurrent programming.
- Practical experience with microservices and multiple datastore types (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, NoSQL).
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).
- Familiarity with AWS and Docker for cloud deployment and containerization.
- Proficiency in performance tuning (indexing, partitioning, sharding) and profiling tools.
- Hands-on testing experience with JUnit and Mockito and experience working in Agile teams.
