## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Drive automation and centralisation across partner pricing and billing systems to reduce manual effort and errors.
- Design, build and extend reconciliation systems and automated controls to ensure billing accuracy and compliance.
- Deliver secure, auditable solutions for complex partner requirements and own features end-to-end from design to production.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews and mentoring to raise reliability, observability and code quality.
- Work with event-driven architectures (Kafka) and databases (MongoDB, MariaDB); improve system resilience and scalability.
- Use AI tooling to support development, testing and delivery; participate in incident response and post-incident learning.

Requirements:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals with significant production experience (senior level), ideally 5+ years.
- Proficiency in Java or a similar object-oriented language and experience designing long-lived scalable systems.
- Practical experience with event-driven systems, Kafka, MongoDB/MariaDB and observability practices.
- Accountability for availability, reliability and security; comfortable with on-call duties and incident management.
- Good judgement balancing speed, scalability and risk; familiarity with fintech/regulatory environments, compliance and auditability.

## Responsibilities

You will drive automation and centralization across partner pricing and billing systems while building resilient, scalable reconciliation solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to architectural decisions and mentor other engineers to ensure high-quality, secure, and performant system delivery.
