Responsibilities:
- Design, build and operate AWS environments tuned for semiconductor/EDA and HPC workloads (interactive and batch).
- Architect and maintain Linux-based engineering workstations, shared services and compute clusters (SLURM).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) and configuration management (Ansible) for repeatable deployments.
- Automate provisioning, CI/CD and lifecycle tasks using Python and Bash scripting.
- Design and operate storage, NFS, networking, IAM and identity services (FreeIPA/LDAP/SSSD) for engineering teams.
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and run reliability playbooks.
- Harden systems for security and compliance; manage patching, backups and incident response.
- Collaborate with CAD, design and verification teams to optimize throughput, cost and reliability.

Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in cloud and Linux infrastructure engineering with deep, hands-on Linux knowledge.
- Strong AWS experience and expertise with Terraform/Terragrunt and Ansible.
- Experience operating HPC schedulers (SLURM) and optimizing batch/parallel workloads.
- Proficient in Python and Bash for automation and tooling; comfortable debugging complex systems.
- Solid understanding of storage, networking, IAM, DNS and identity solutions (NFS, FreeIPA, LDAP, SSSD).
- Familiar with monitoring stacks (Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch) and incident management.
- Background supporting EDA toolchains, simulation/verification workloads or related semiconductor workflows is highly desirable.
- Strong security mindset, communication skills and ability to work across teams in a fast-moving environment.
