## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver secure cloud architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments aligned to policy and best practice.
- Lead implementation of cloud security controls (IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management).
- Translate policy and risk into practical cloud solutions via threat modelling, architecture reviews, and risk assessments.
- Build and maintain automated security assurance (policy-as-code, CI/CD checks, pre-commit hooks, automated testing).
- Operate and improve cloud security tooling and processes: identity lifecycle, PKI, incident response, and logging/monitoring.
- Provide senior technical consultancy, engage stakeholders, and support secure design across delivery teams.

Requirements:
- Significant experience securing cloud platforms and delivering cloud-native controls (IAM, encryption, monitoring).
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and embedding security into IaC workflows.
- Hands-on familiarity with OS, networking, PKI, CI/CD pipelines, and automated security tooling.
- Experience performing threat modelling, architecture reviews, audits, and risk-based guidance.
- Ability to design automated assurance, policy-as-code, and integrate security checks in delivery pipelines.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills and experience working across architecture, DevOps, and product teams.
