## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery workshops and translate business needs into secure, scalable integration designs.
- Design, build and maintain Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses, Warehouses, Dataflows and Pipelines.
- Implement ETL/ELT solutions to ingest data from SQL Server, APIs, CSV, Excel, JSON and XML.
- Develop secure REST API and SFTP integrations with internal and third‑party systems.
- Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot production data solutions; perform root cause analysis and reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, PMs and delivery teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and documentation.

Requirements:
- Commercial experience in data engineering and integration with strong SQL and Python skills.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services (Azure SQL, Data Lake Storage, Data Factory).
- Practical experience building API/SFTP integrations and implementing ETL/ELT patterns.
- Familiarity with orchestration, data modelling and pipeline monitoring tools; PySpark experience desirable.
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

## Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain cloud-based data integration solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure, including lakehouses, warehouses, dataflows and pipelines. Lead discovery workshops, engage with clients to gather requirements, implement integrations (REST API, SFTP, SQL, CSV/JSON/XML) and provide deployment, monitoring and ongoing support.

## Requirements

Commercial experience in data engineering and integration with strong SQL and Python skills and hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services. Practical knowledge of ETL/ELT design, API and secure SFTP integrations, Azure SQL, Data Lake Storage and Data Factory; strong communication and client-facing experience are required.
