## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Build and evolve a self-service data platform that enables teams to ship data pipelines, ML models, and AI products reliably.
- Design scalable ingestion, processing and consumption layers for batch and real-time analytics (pipelines, dashboards, agents, reporting).
- Implement automation and AI-assisted tools to reduce toil and accelerate development across the stack.
- Own infrastructure as code and platform security/compliance; prioritize automation and reproducible deployments.
- Extend platform capabilities to support ML use cases (feature stores, model serving, experiment tracking) and mentor engineers.

Requirements:
- Proven experience building data platforms in tech companies or scale-ups; strong bias for engineering productivity and scalability.
- Proficiency in Python (Java is a plus) and solid software engineering fundamentals.
- Deep understanding of data engineering: distributed/stream processing, batch processing, schema evolution, and storage systems.
- Hands‑on with cloud-first tooling, container orchestration (Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform) workflows.
- Excellent communicator, able to take end-to-end ownership and influence stakeholders; high level of ownership and accountability.
- Nice to have: experience with ML platforms, feature stores, and generative-AI integrations.

## Responsibilities

Build and evolve a self-service Data Platform enabling teams to reliably ship data pipelines, ML and AI products. Design scalable ingestion, processing, and consumption pipelines (batch and real-time), and extend the platform with AI-assisted tooling while maintaining secure, automated infrastructure. Mentor teammates and uphold engineering excellence across the data stack.

## Requirements
