## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Lead design and delivery of reusable data models, modular architectures and governed data backbones for clients.
- Develop and maintain complex ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes and data warehouses (performance, scalability, security).
- Operationalise analytics and data science outputs into production-ready applications and APIs.
- Define and implement cloud infrastructure and DevOps/CI-CD practices to support data platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Provide technical leadership and strategic advice to clients; coach and share knowledge with colleagues.

Requirements:
- Degree in a technical field and 5+ years experience in data engineering or similar senior roles (consulting experience preferred).
- Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with PySpark/Pandas and Databricks, Snowflake or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing data lakes/warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines and productionising data science solutions.
- Familiar with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), CI/CD, performance tuning, security and scalable architectures.
- Excellent communicator in Dutch and English; able to translate technical choices to business stakeholders and coach teams.

## Responsibilities

Lead the design, build, and governance of reusable data models and data architectures, and develop complex data pipelines (ETL/ELT). Design and optimize data lakes and data warehouses and operationalize analytics into production-ready applications, while guiding cloud infrastructure with emphasis on performance, security, and scalability.

## Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as Data Science, Computer Science or Engineering; at least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or senior data/engineering role in a consulting or advisory capacity. Fluency in Dutch and English, deep SQL and Python skills, experience with PySpark or Pandas, Databricks and Snowflake, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) with DevOps/CI-CD practices; ability to coach junior team members.
