## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Own analytics problems end‑to‑end: define questions with stakeholders, design experiments/models and ship solutions to production.
- Apply causal inference, predictive and ranking models to guide decisions on growth, product, pricing, risk and financial crime.
- Build and maintain production models, monitoring for drift, retraining and ensuring reliability in live systems.
- Work with the data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Looker; MySQL, Druid, Kafka, Flink) to produce scalable pipelines and metrics.
- Translate business impact into model objectives and communicate clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Mentor peers, review work and set standards for rigorous measurement and model quality.

Requirements:
- Strong applied experience converting messy business questions into reliable measurements or production models (causal inference where applicable).
- Fluency in Python and SQL and comfort building analyses and pipelines without waiting for hand‑curated data.
- Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow and BI tools (Looker or equivalent); familiarity with streaming/storage tech (MySQL, Druid, Kafka, Flink) is desirable.
- Proven track record of deploying models that influenced decisions and operating them in production (monitoring, retraining).
- Clear communicator, comfortable telling stakeholders unwelcome but correct findings and advocating for data‑driven choices.

## Responsibilities

Own problems end-to-end: frame the question with stakeholders, build the model or experiment, ship it, and follow it into production. Stay accountable for models after launch, monitoring drift and retraining as needed.

Strong applied experience in causal inference and building production-ready models; fluent in Python and SQL; experience with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow and Looker; track record of models that have influenced decisions; excellent communication and ownership.
