Responsibilities:
- Design and execute cryo-EM experiments focused on E3 ubiquitin ligases (e.g., CRL4/CRBN) and related complexes.
- Process and curate cryo-EM datasets using tools such as CryoSPARC and RELION to extract structural information.
- Analyze conformational heterogeneity and produce models that link structural changes to biochemical function.
- Collaborate with computational teams (including Flatiron Institute partners) to develop and apply advanced modelling and simulation methods.
- Develop, validate and maintain analysis pipelines, scripts and tools for time-resolved cryo-EM and molecular dynamics integration.
- Prepare datasets, visualisations and manuscripts; present results to interdisciplinary teams and at conferences.
- Mentor junior scientists, contribute to experimental planning and ensure reproducible data practices.

Requirements:
- PhD in biophysics, structural biology, computational biology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with cryo-EM data collection/processing and molecular dynamics or other modelling methods.
- Strong programming skills (Python, shell scripting) and experience with CryoSPARC/RELION workflows.
- Solid background in protein structure analysis, conformational ensemble interpretation and structural model building.
- Track record of scientific publications and effective communication of technical results to multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively across experimental and computational groups and to manage multiple project strands.
