## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain security controls across CI/CD pipelines, cloud resources, and production systems.
- Automate security checks and integrate them into development workflows (static/Dynamic analysis, dependency scanning, IaC validation).
- Configure and manage firewalls, access controls, encryption (SSL/TLS, SSH, IPSec) and related infrastructure.
- Run regular vulnerability scans, coordinate penetration testing, and track remediation efforts with engineering teams.
- Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and support incident response activities and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with developers to embed secure coding practices and threat mitigation in the SDLC.
- Document security configurations, runbooks, and best-practice guidance for teams.

Requirements:
- Up to 3 years of experience in DevOps security or IT security roles.
- Strong working knowledge of firewalls, access controls, SSL/TLS, SSH, IPSec and related operational controls.
- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, PCI DSS and common application security risks.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanners and basic penetration testing tools.
- Practical understanding of DevOps principles (Agile, CI/CD) and secure coding fundamentals (input validation, output encoding).
- Awareness of security frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
- Basic incident response experience and ability to collaborate under pressure.
