## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end productionisation of ML models: training pipelines, model serving, integration, and measuring business impact.
- Design and evolve the ML platform and serving architecture to improve reliability, throughput and reusability.
- Implement automated releases, drift detection/monitoring and integration/system tests within training pipelines.
- Collaborate with data scientists to improve model robustness, launch new workflows, and iterate based on real-world metrics.
- Write and maintain high-quality code across languages (Python/Rust) and dive into unfamiliar codebases to ship features.

Requirements:
- Minimum ~2 years operating ML models in production and ~4+ years building production software on strong teams.
- Demonstrable experience with model serving, training pipelines, monitoring, and automation.
- Comfortable working with Python and Rust and deploying models (ONNX) where throughput matters.
- Experience with cloud-native GCP tooling, Kubernetes, BigQuery and feature stores (e.g., Chalk.ai) is preferred.
- Strong engineering mindset: testability, automation, measurable impact, and continuous improvement.

## Responsibilities

Own productionising ML models end-to-end, build and mature Relay's ML Platform, and ensure reliable model deployment with drift monitoring and automated releases.

## Requirements

Minimum 2+ years deploying/operating models in production and 4+ years building software on high-performing teams. Comfortable diving into unfamiliar codebases/languages to ship models; strong preference for automation over manual work.
