Responsibilities:
- Design data center heat rejection and HVAC systems (air-cooled, liquid-cooled) that meet capacity, redundancy, and concurrent maintainability requirements.
- Select cooling architectures (fan walls, CRAH/CRAC, chilled water, DX, in-row, containment) and justify choices for efficiency and scalability.
- Perform heat load calculations, capacity planning, and CFD/airflow modeling to optimize performance and placement.
- Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, structural, and IT infrastructure teams for integrated, buildable solutions.
- Produce construction drawings, equipment schedules, and specifications; support client meetings and periodic site visits.
- Apply industry standards and best practices for uptime, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or HVAC engineering (or equivalent) with 6+ years of relevant data center/mechanical design experience.
- Hands-on experience with CFD tools, heat load analysis, and selecting data center cooling equipment.
- Familiarity with data center standards (Uptime Institute, TIA‑942, ANSI/BICSI) and mission-critical design principles.
- Ability to create detailed construction documents and coordinate with multi-discipline teams in client-facing settings.
- Preferred: professional certifications (CEM, BEMP, LEED, P.E.) and experience on fast-paced, large-scale data center projects.
