Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and operate a resilient cloud platform (compute, network, storage) including full-scale GPU clusters.
- Implement and run CI/CD/GitOps pipelines to enforce auditable, repeatable infrastructure delivery.
- Design and enforce Policy-as-Code (Kyverno/YAML) for governance, isolation, and audit compliance.
- Establish monitoring, telemetry, SLOs, and alerting to enable robust operations and future SRE work.
- Partner with Research and Data teams to deliver self-service capabilities for diverse workloads (notebooks, distributed jobs).
- Automate operational processes to reduce toil and improve reproducibility.
Requirements:
- Proven platform engineering experience building and operating production cloud platforms.
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (OCI, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proficiency in Terraform for large-scale infrastructure provisioning.
- Practical experience operating resilient Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or Java for tooling and automation.
- Familiarity with policy-as-code tooling and security/governance controls; experience with Kyverno is a plus.
- Experience supporting ML or data engineering workloads is desirable.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with strong documentation and communication skills.
