## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end security review flow: intake, risk-based triage, technical review, remediation tracking and sign-off.
- Act as security release authority: evaluate residual risk, block releases when necessary, document exceptions and escalation steps.
- Facilitate and maintain threat models for features, services, integrations and platform-critical flows; keep a reusable threat library.
- Perform security design reviews of architectures, APIs and integrations; define security requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Define secure architecture patterns and compensating controls for legacy constraints; advise engineering on implementation trade-offs.
- Coordinate technical security assessments for third parties, vendors and integrations; define technical requirements for onboarding.
- Collaborate with AppSec analysts, DevSecOps and GRC to close gaps, align on risk, and report review coverage and metrics.
- Provide guidance to teams on authentication, authorization, API and cloud security, and incident response readiness.

Requirements:
- 5+ years in product/application security with experience as a design authority or senior architect-level reviewer.
- Strong background in threat modelling, secure architecture, API security, authentication/authorization (OAuth2/OIDC/JWT/mTLS) and cloud/Kubernetes environments.
- Proven judgement to balance security risk against business needs and to enforce release-blocking decisions when required.
- Experience performing technical assessments of third parties and defining integration security requirements.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tooling, security testing, and metrics/reporting for security review coverage.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; able to negotiate security requirements with product and engineering leads.
- Practical experience with incident response processes and aligning technical controls to GRC and risk registers.
