Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement node-layer security sensors and kernel-level detections (e.g., eBPF) for Linux endpoints.
- Build scalable telemetry pipelines for ingesting, processing, and storing security data across the fleet.
- Design low-overhead production monitoring and detection systems tuned for ML workloads.
- Prototype security tooling and analytics, including integrating Claude for detection/response workflows.
- Partner with security and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into reliable, maintainable systems.
- Contribute via code reviews, mentorship, hiring, and participation in on-call rotations.

Requirements:
- Strong software engineering background focused on Linux internals, OS security primitives, or infrastructure.
- Proficiency writing secure, maintainable code in Rust and/or C/C++.
- Practical experience with eBPF or other kernel-level instrumentation and detection techniques.
- Familiarity with test-driven development, CI/CD, and building production telemetry pipelines.
- Experience working with security teams to convert requirements into technical solutions and owning projects end-to-end.
- Preferred: 7+ years engineering experience, detection-as-code, IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), SIEM/EDR, SOAR or security automation, and large-scale data/storage/query optimization.
