## About the role

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and operate scalable platform services for agent orchestration, sessions, resource management and control.
- Build and maintain agent runtimes that provision isolated execution environments, handle streaming, cancellation, failure recovery and lifecycle control.
- Develop orchestration capabilities to coordinate long-running, asynchronous agent work across services and runtimes with correct identity, context and resources.
- Ensure platform reliability, security, observability and cost effectiveness; define metrics, traces, logs and operational tooling.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define APIs, domain boundaries and upgrade paths; mentor peers and improve platform maturity.

Requirements:
- Strong production backend engineering experience with at least one of: Python, Go, Rust, Java or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and container runtimes.
- Proven ability to design for long-running, asynchronous workloads, partial failures, retries and durable state.
- Experience building observability, security practices and operational tooling for platform services.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to mentor and influence cross-functional teams.
